They made it really easy to talk about and document the items I needed moving as some were going to my new home, some to storage and some staying at the property. They booked a time slot that was very quick and suited me perfectly. The team were friendly, efficient and very careful with my belongings even with a very heavy American fridge freezer. I am continuing to use them for storage and I am in no doubt my belongings are in safe hands, the compound is gated and access is controlled. We were involved in a very quick sale, really only three days’ notice. Steve Rogers was extremely helpful in giving me a quote very quickly, and reserving capacity to do our move. We had quite an unusual move in that the completion date had to be within 3 weeks. We had booked our removal day for what was to be one of the hottest days of the summer which made it very hard work for everyone. However, the whole experience was made much less painful by your suggestion of splitting the move over 2 days. Both days, the teams were great and worked swiftly both on the first afternoon in temperatures of over 30 degrees and again the next morning which quickly became equally if not warmer than the previous afternoon. The team from Schotts were all very polite, efficient and quite frankly amazing in very difficult circumstances with the extreme weather. All our belongings were moved efficiently and safely – not a mark was left on either house or any of the furniture, and everything was executed in good humour and with a professional approach. Hi I was very happy with the move you carried out for me last June. The job was rather last minute but I suspect that is not unusual. The team of three that came on the day was very efficient and very pleasant throughout. When I saw the van arrive, I was a little sceptical about fitting it all in but somehow they managed to pack very efficiently and all went in ok. They did face the challenge of moving a piano and it did take a few attempts but they did not give in and eventually it came out. I was moving long distance from Scotland to Yorkshire and then putting my belongings into storage. I can only say how professional Schott’s were from start to finish. Hello An excellent service from start to finish. Prompt arrival and everyone worked so hard which wasn’t easy at times as it was a boiling hot day. A real team effort, with polite and friendly staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Schotts as the service was so good, but the price was also so much cheaper than two other quotes. I cannot recommend Schotts highly enough. I booked them for my removals quite late in the process as my exchange of contracts was fraught with difficulty! From the outset the way the team dealt with my enquiry was fantastic, they accommodated my requirements without a problem and ensured that the stress of moving was drastically reduced. The quote process was simple, the website made that very easy to do and meant that I knew costs pretty much straight away. On the day of the move the team that moved me were second to none. Efficient, courteous and ensuring they kept me up to speed with what was happening and keeping to time. Their arrival was prompt, and thanks for accommodating a slightly later start time to allow my 90 year old mother time to prepare herself for the day ahead. Your team got straight to the matter at hand quickly packing the more delicate items etc. and then the larger items. The transition from locations, whilst a short distance was carried out without fuss and within the expected time frame. “I rang Steve Rogers who was very prompt in visiting the house to give us a quote for the move. We exchanged emails as the moving date drew near and the move was confirmed. Boxes, tape and packing paper/bubble wrap was dropped off in advance so we could commence packing. On the moving day the team of three arrived just before eight o’clock and began work straight away. All three were polite and pleasant and worked really hard. They communicated well with us, ensuring all property was dealt with carefully. Once the van was packed they met us at the new house promptly and proceeded to unpack the van. They were good at finding solutions to small issues e.g. Getting large furniture up a small twisting staircase. They worked quickly but carefully. We were really impressed with them.”
This was a very efficient move where everything except inflammables was packed by Schott’s staff and labelled. On arrival at the destination all the boxes and furniture were distributed in the house according to my daughter’s instructions.
Moving home can be quite stressful, hoping that everything runs smoothly on the day and everything goes according to plan. Well I can honestly say using yourselves to move our belongings made a potential stressful day a none stressful day. The guys that moved our belongings were professional, friendly and very helpful. The day sailed along without any hitches. The guys were very careful with our belongings and treat them like they were their own. I wouldn’t hesitate to use schott removals again and will definitely recommend them to family and friends.
Schott’s arrived precisely on time if not a touch early and they wasted no time what so ever in loading up all of my gear, but with such great care, everything was wrapped in blankets and secured with straps, I was fearful no one would be as careful with my possessions as I could be but I couldn’t praise these chaps enough, they didn’t stop to take a breather which was fantastic knowing I’m paying for their time and after buying a new house I didn’t have money to spare. I could not recommend Schott Removal more highly, the chaps were pleasant, careful, and so helpful, not to mention there was no arguing with my family and friends as to which way would be best to ‘get it through the gap’ and then the screaming of you’ve caught my fingers! Five Stars top notch job, don’t look any further, this is the team you need!!!

We used Schotts in 2012 to move from Spennymoor to Darlington, their service then was exceptional and as such we had no hesitation in using them again when we moved from Darlington to Nottingham exactly five years later; we did not even contact other removal companies. We were not disappointed by our decision, once again Schotts were efficient, polite and professional throughout the move, taking extreme care with all our possessions, as well as our and new homes. We would have no hesitation at all in recommending Schotts and indeed have done on many occasions.

Having used Schotts for our move to Winston I cannot recommend them highly enough. They came and packed on the Monday, the ‘crew’ were smashing and were very efficient and courteous. On the Tuesday morning they arrived promptly loaded the van including a load of garden pots and were most helpful throughout the time. Also we found them extremely good value. Moving home is commonly known as one of the most stressful experiences you can have and so you can’t imagine how pleased my husband and I were in securing a move through Schott Removals. We can’t praise Ian and Sean of Schott Removals highly enough. We had expected moving house to be really stressful but they made it a pleasure. They were fast, careful, efficient and friendly. We have now utilised your services on two occasions: originally when we moved in to rented accommodation and subsequently when we moved in to the above address. Both times Ian and Sean have attended to carry out the work. Ian and Sean are the hardest working individuals we have ever seen. They move quickly and efficiently, wasting no time at all. Some of the furniture moved, had had “specialist teams” attend from the furniture stores, to deliver it. However, Ian and Sean moved the same with less man power, quicker. They took great care of all our belongings (unlike other firms we have used previously) causing no damage to anything.
